I received lots of suggestions for where to find vegan grub in Prague (from other vegans at the Polyglot Gathering in Brno, from other kind abillion people), but no one dropped the name of this cafe, which is a huge injustice! 😬 This would be my favourite vegan place in Prague, and I specifically chose this year's hotel in order to be close to them 🙂 Not 100% sure that I'm talking about the same item as the rest of the reviews that have come before mine. We didn't find any Egg Benedict on the menu, and those Egg Benedict dishes were certainly made from #tofu, so go figure I guess? 🤔 This worked well together, the #focaccia and the #fakemeat #ham, the #babyspinach and the plant-based #hollandaise sauce. Decadent #breakfastofchampions 🙌 The fiancée ordered this and confirmed it wasn't far off her all-time favourite Egg Benedict (that's the one at the Intercon on Beach Road in Singapore, if you're wondering 😉)

Just round the corner from the hotel where we were staying, which was handy when we didn't want an overpriced, omnivore-centric buffet ordeal 😏 Again I was familiar with this place from last year (read: I chose this year's hotel in order to be close to this place 😉), so I gladly jumped at the chance to order some seasonal specials like this #dirtylatte (with #earlgrey instead of chai as the little twist) The place is all vegan, so no need to worry about milk/mylk - #oatmilk is the default for all the coffee/tea items, but I think you can ask that they switch to coconut 🙂 Love the presentation, but yeah that glass is a bit tiny so the portion runs out on you rather quickly ☹️

Tagliere perfetto per una colazione o un pranzo, molto abbondante anche se condiviso tra due persone. È composto da: una ciotolina di scrambled tofu, super cremoso e non eccessivamente speziato con la curcuma; due salsiccette, croccanti fuori e umide all'interno, molto simili a quelle tradizionali; avocado spolverato con um mix di spezie che ne esalta il sapore; insalata mista condita con vinaigrette; una ciotola di hummus ai pomodori secchi con tocchetti di feta vegetale; due fette di pane con lievito madre e deu di pane in cassetta; plumcake al limone, profumato e umido al punto giusto; croissant sfogliato; burro e marmellata; frutta fresca. Assolutamente consigliato! Il locale è 100% vegan, accogliente, sostiene un rifugio locale e al piano interrato ha un piccolo "giardino segreto". 🗓 marzo '25 - CHZ 479 (circa 19,30 euro)

So pretty! 😍 Loved the little board/saucer thing, as well as the general setup/decor of this cute little place. It's probably an 8-table affair, in a small shop lot with a view onto the street. So very cosy 🙂 Oh, as for the #flatwhite, it was pretty good too 🙂 Strong intense #coffee notes, not at all overtaken by that of the #oatmilk which they used. This gave me the hit of #caffeine that I needed to go ahead with the morning. I've been running on 3-4 hours of sleep, attending some hard-hitting language presentations by day and going multilingual partying by night ☺️

I thought this was excellent 😋 Exactly the #breakfastofchampions that I needed 😊 Although the #scrambledtofu took the naming rights, I thought the star of the show was the herbed #veganbutter that went on top of two warmed slices of #bread 😋 Honourable mentions to the #sausage as well as the #salad. There was so much of the tofu that you could use it to accompany every bite of everything else 😁 Maybe a #bigbreakfast doesn't need to be a fry-up after all 🙃
