Anche questa cotoletta ben riuscita, non sono riuscita a capire quale fosse la base, penso sempre soia ma il sapore e la consistenza erano leggermente diversi dalla cotoletta del piatto "Bodhi Pfanderl".. mannaggia avrei dovuto chiedere per non restare con questo bubbio esistenziale 🙃 In questo caso ho apprezzato un pò meno i contorni, ovvero insalata di patate e cetrioli con tofu affumicato, insalata fresca mista e marmellata di ribes rossi piu che altro perché serviti freddi di frigorifero - so che si usa così e potevo aspettarselo, but still 🥶 🗓 gennaio '25 - € 17,00

Ho adorato questo locale, ben differente dalla maggioranza dei locali vegan un pò fighetti: tavoli e bancone di legno stile pub, atmosfera informale e amichevole, tanti quadri con frasi riferite al tema vegan e un menù che propone anche piatti tradizionali oltre a burger originali e antipasti più internazionali. Questa cotoletta è davvero ben riuscita! È fatta con testurizzato di soia marinato, saporito e morbido, la panatura è spessa e croccante e resta aderente al filetto. La cosa che ho apprezzato di più però è stata la salsa alla birra scura, densa e ricca di sapore, che si sposava benissimo anche con il cavolo viola stufato con le mele di contorno. La salsa è anche stata utile per dare un senso allo gnocco di patate che mangiato da solo per me non ha molta ragione di esistere 🙃 Ho trovato il prezzo dei piatti in generale alto ma quantomeno non si paga il coperto. 🗓 gennaio '25 - € 21,50

I'm a chocolate dessert kind of girl, but this had me HOWLING at how good it was!! Kinda in between an apple fritter and a thick pancake, it was super fluffy and chewy, with nice bits of crust and a delicate sweetness that's not overbearing. Just fantastic.

Not a fan of the onions on top (I know that's an unpopular opinion!), but the spätzle are just perfect and so is the cheesy cream: incredibly delicate and balanced, not even a hint of that "fake cheese"-synthetic taste, super yummy.

Mind-blowing that this was vegan. Crazy crisp coating, seitan had a perfect consistency and bite, and the gravy/sauce was glorious. It's a filling dish with a very full taste - I preferred the schnitzel as this was a bit on the heavier side, but that's just my personal preference, the dish itself is glorious.

Jaw-droppingly good schnitzel. Can't express how delicious this was. Thick and crispy coating, not oily, soy steak with a super satisfying bite. Potato salad (under the schnitzel) and side salad were fresh and tasty too. Literally one of the best dishes I ever had at a restaurant!

I'm far from being a fan of cauliflower, but these were absolute bangers!! Perfectly crisp, not oily, and spicy just right. Price was around 5€, not bad at all.

Again, copying @david-, I had to give this classic Bavarian dessert a try! This dish is essentially chopped up fluffy pancakes, with a caramelized sugar coating, raisins, nuts, powdered sugar, and a side of apple sauce. My grandmother gave it a 9/10, which is high praise from someone who grew up here! The pancakes were so fluffy, but kind of crunchy on the outside from the caramelized sugar. Very warm and comforting flavours, and very filling! 12 euros. #sweettooth #carbsforlife

This dish sounded really incredible, so I’m glad my grandfather picked it. Dumplings sort of like ravioli, stuffed with porcini mushrooms, and topped with walnuts, cherry tomatoes, roasted onions, and a truffle cream with herbs. This #umamibomb was rich but still delicate, with incredible mushroom and truffle flavours, which went so well with the nuttiness of the walnuts and the freshness of the tomatoes. A very well constructed dish, with every element playing its part! 14.50 euros. #mushroomlover

I really loved the decor in this place, it had a classic Bavarian pub feel but with a vegan twist. My grandparents were not impressed with the t-shirts😂 but they enjoyed the food. This dish is a take on a traditional German cheese, which my grandmother describes as “just a bunch of different cheeses that you mash together into a ball with spices and herbs”. How can you go wrong?? I found it super delicious, and so did my grandma! She said it was just like the nonvegan version! The little pretzel loaves it came with were also so good. Really soft and warm. 10.50 euros. #veganisnotscary

For my final meal in Germany, I requested we go to Bodhi, a vegan restaurant serving classic Bavarian fare. After seeing @david-‘s reviews here I had to copy him and get the keesspatzn, it just looked too good. Indeed, it was so delicious. Kind of like a German Mac and cheese but with spetzl, which gives it this chewy texture that I really loved. It was soooo #cheesy and #creamy, and the #friedonion on top enhanced the whole thing. A very heavy meal, but really nice for cold and rainy weather. 15 euros and it came with a side salad as well!
