Meat-free meatballs in a tomato sauce, topped with vg ‘mozzarella’ cheese and served with baby spinach on a toasted ciabatta. The perfect hangover food after overindulging on cocktails last night. The meatballs are handcrafted by the owner, and taste fantastic. The tomato sauce is so flavoursome, and the cheese tops off a delicious food mountain. It was a dreich old day in the coastal village of Cullen, so I popped into my old faithful cafe of choice, The Loft, for something to warm my old bones. Of course, it didn’t disappoint; it never does! Homemade Cream of Tomato soup worked a treat at warming me up and filling my belly. If you haven’t yet been to the Loft, stick it in your itinerary as it’s a wonderful place. #veganisnotscary #willows
