I think there must be a central bakery supplying these tasty vegan buns around London. I’m grateful. Another walk another search for vegan cake and a cuppa 😋 We come to this cafe in Regent’s Park regularly and they offer a good selection of vegan cake. This swirl of #cinnamon is right up my street. A chewy consistency- delicious warm - with a lovely taste of cinnamon throughout giving it a pleasant sweetness. The cafe gets very busy and staff are hectic, but if you can get passed the chaos of ordering, the seating outside is lovely, putting you in a soothing environment of plants, trees and blossom. #ditchdairy #veganinlondon #cinnamonbun

Regent’s Park is a beautiful place to stroll amongst the trees and flower beds and watch the birds on the water. This café on the edge of the Rose garden is a very pleasant stop off on your walk. It gets very busy at certain times but there’s a lot of indoor and outdoor seating.☘️ We were lucky with the weather and sat outside in the sunshine tucking into cake and coffee. They offer several choices of vegan cake. I was pleased with my choice of carrot cake. It was very prettily decorated with frosting topped with pumpkin seeds, nuts and edible purple flowers…violets? I think so. All the topping flavours complimented the light carrot sponge. Not too sweet. A nice sized piece costing £5.50, so it needed to be substantial. The cafe welcomes dogs in the outside area. It’s a lovely location sheltered by large shrubs and when the roses are in flower you can enjoy the sensory heaven of dozens of different perfumes coming from the blooms. 🌹🌹🌹 #veganinlondon #walkinthepark #vegancarrotcake #santuariovegan 💚

This #flapjack went well with my coffee. I particularly liked the toasted coconut topping with the dark chocolate. The different texture and distinctive taste worked well. The oat base was a little dry for me. Maybe a touch more vegan ‘butter’ was needed in the mix or a drizzle of maple syrup? However, I was impressed that it was one of three vegan cakes available. This is a pleasant cafe to stop off at on a walk in the magnificent Regent’s Park. It was quiet this wintry week so no need to queue but come the summer it’s very busy indoors and outdoors. Understandable, as it’s in such an attractive location, near the Rose garden, the Open Air Theatre and the Bandstand. #vegancake #ditchdairy #veganinlondon

This wrap tasted much better than it looked. There’s something unappetising about a chilled, damp feeling wrap, wrapped in cellophane, but this was the only vegan option and I usually enjoy falafel so I took a chance. It was tasty and nourishing, packed with ingredients. #falafel and nice raw layers of #greens #spinach I think. The roll call of ingredients is a bit alarming, what with emulsifiers, raising agents and all sorts of stuff I imagine are needed to keep this #wrap fresh for as long as possible. I noticed palm oil is also used. There are also healthy additions like #sesameseeds #driedfruits and #paprikaoil The cafe is a busy hub for people enjoying the beautiful gardens of Regent’s Park with indoor and outdoor seating surrounded by lush plants. It’s right next to the rose gardens which at this time of year have a stunning array of colourful, scented flowers. #veganisnotscary #veganfortheanimals #veganfalafel
