We went through Dayton a few weeks and my daughter ordered this vegan french toast. Because she doesn't have an #abillion account she let me try it so I could review it with her. Her review: it's amazing and perfect and she will get it again and again. My review: it felt so buttery, like I felt it was oozing butter. I was very excited to have a healthy option when I picked the tofu scramble. It comes with homemade breakfast potatoes. I thought the potatoes would be on the side but it was mixed within and it tasted like they were cooked in lots of oil. The tofu egg didn't have much flavor. My daughter wanted my vegan sausage (I can't stomach beyond and impossible) so I asked for it on the side. I wonder if it is usually mixed within and adds flavor? The restaurant was nice and the staff super kind. I asked for no bread as I really need to eat #glutenfree and they offer a gluten free bread instead. It was really good bread and felt clean! I had wanted a smoothie bowl but talked myself out of this thinking the scramble would be healthier. Next time I'll get the smoothie bowl ☺️ #abillionlove #veganfortheanimals #govegan #dairyisscary

More fun murals at Butter Cafe is Dayton🎨🖌 And a side note they do sell vegan cupcakes in their case! This last dish was a bit heavy, but it's a large and filling serving. The tofu scramble has some black beans and veggies as well as two pieces of vegan and #glutenfree toast. It also comes with two pieces of beyond #vegan sausage. The #tofu egg does have a distinctive flavor, it was hard to figure out though because it wasn't totally a black salt flavor, but it had another spice added in. This also had housemade #potatoes mixed throughout. Per their menu everything is cooked in coconut oil. This dish was $13.95 #veganfortheanimals #abillionlove #govegan #protein

The lighting situation was less than ideal for food photos 📸 but look how beautiful their murals are!🤣 This breakfast burrito was decent. It comes with #tofu scramble, black beans, and #vegan cheeze. The #avocado was extra $$. It didn't have a whole lot of flavor, and I wasn't a fan of the breakfast potatoes. They didn't have much to any flavor at all. Very dry and bland, unfortunately. I funnily enough ran into Greg in Dayton as he realized he had my boots and he was going that way. I thought some crazy guy was road raging at us. It was just Greg. I ended up giving him the other half of this to eat on the road, and he thought it tasted like curry. I think it would be better with a sauce added or some veggies. It is a bit pricey as well. Next time, I probably wouldn't order this, but I was a big fan of the tofu scramble. I got to tag along with @kristig and her daughters and their friend to Red Oak for a special mission. (But that's not my story to tell) We stopped in Dayton for #breakfast at this cute little restaurant called Butter Cafe. They have a really decent amount of #vegan options to choose from. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch comes with three pieces of vegan French toast, with a cinnamon sugar crunchy blend. It also comes with a side of vegan #dairyfree butter and maple syrup. 🍁 French toast was a favorite pre-vegan, and it's so awesome that places are embracing these plantbased changes and options!
