Tofunagi Don

This was excellent!! I really loved it, tofu is my absolute favorite and this was such a great version of it. Love the seaweed to mimic eel skin too! Friends thought it was very convincing.

Tasty and good portion. Nutrition takes a hit as it is fried but no complaints otherwise!

I would eat this again in a heartbeat — so flavourful that I inhaled the whole bowl before I even knew it. Who knew that tofu could be done so soft, but crispy, holding great umami, sweetness and saltiness from the sauce while balancing out with the cleaner and more plain tastes of the tofu?? This is just the tofunagi with more rice. Still prefer it in the sushi form, which is just nice amount of rice.
