Very fragrant gula melaka, which got a little too sweet towards the end but it makes for a good traditional dessert.
This #cendol (or #chendol since we're in Singapore and their Malay didn't go through the regularisation of the 1970s 😏) was remarkable for the predominance of #gulamelaka. If you have a massive #sweettooth and are no better than ambivalent about the use of #coconutmilk in your #dessert, this one might just be for you. Mindblowing chendol that I've been searching through time. Green jelly is homemade, unlike the factory ones, gula melaka is flavourful and sweetness just right, fresh coconut milk and red beans just finishes me off like lighting a dynamite. All's balanced. Shiok! 👍🏼
Tasty and mildly sweet. A must try! Although snaking queue lines since the place is quite famous.
