Picture of Potato and Mushroom soup is in the foreground. Well, you can never go wrong with this choice! The soup contains potato and mushroom chucks. Definitely flavorful. In the background is asparagus soup! Go for it if you love asparagus!

The oyster mushrooms are cooked to perfection! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The serving of mashed sweet potatoes is really generous and definitely filling!

The texture of the ribs is amazing with the BBQ glaze. Onion rings made with real onions and the dips on the side are so good!! Definitely worth a try if you are in Vienna! Would love to try the dessert but was way too full after a soup and the spare ribs.

As far as substitute meats go, this dish takes the prize. The texture and consistency is spot-on and the two sauces complement it well. Yes, those are onion rings! Vegana Indiana is a vegan restaurant that prides itself on delivering vegan versions of Austrian staples. While "spare ribs" are not necessarily traditional to Austria, this will be my go to meal whenever I visit Austria. Try the fried "cheese" as an appetizer.
