This was relegated to a takeaway meal because of how big the portion of the pumpkin hotpot turned out to be, I'm sure it would've been a bit nicer had we had it in store 🥲 Or maybe not, since #tukarchor (猪脚醋 for the rest of you 😛) is one of those things where we tend to think the concept of 入味 applies 🤔 Certainly plenty of time for the savoury #vinegar to pass its flavour into the #monkeyheadmushroom, #taupok, #tofu, and #blackfungus - it turned out to be delicious! 😋 The charred #cauliflower and #broccoli dressed in #veganfloss was also not bad, though I question the placement of the #papaya side dish inside the takeaway bento box. I nuked the whole thing, and believe me, microwaved papaya is not pleasant 😬 Solid effort!

Whoa this was a feast 😃 We ordered this #hotpot thinking it would feed one, but it turned out to be more than enough for two ☺️ Even if there was only one portion of #multigrainrice 😅 The #pumpkin broth was delicious, with that predominant sweetness elevated by gentle savoury and #umami touches 😋 The broth really made the dish, alongside the addition of superb ingredients like #tofu, #monkeyheadmushrooms, #deepfried #gyoza, #carrots, #lettuce, #shimeji #mushroom, and #reddates, and not so superb ones like the #evilweed 🥲 It's rare to see me beating the drum for a healthy place, but yes, you read it here first 😉

Fantastic little concoction here ☺️ This #icedtea came chock full of the #passionfruit seeds, which along with the #aloevera provided this delightfully crunchy texture to go with the naturally #sweettooth pleasing aspects of the beverage 🙂

This was a very solid effort, though I wouldn't go as far as to lavish the sort of effusive praise that @dafnelately has previously offered for this dish 😏 The broth is convincingly milky, all by the power of #soy 💪 With a gingery lining to the flavour that makes it rather impressive. Decent amount of #tofu, #tomato, as well as fried #oystermushroom (on the side, and also could be crispier 🥲) You will want to eat this briskly, before the #vermicelli gets all soggy and clumpy 😅

This is so much better in-store 🙈 I used to order out from their other branch during lockdown a lot https://www.abillion.com/dishes/idealite-queensbay-mall-signature-claypot-rice-10129631 but it really does no justice to having the #claypot in store 🍲 The rice had a nice char and was subtly salty but all the way through #herbal 🌿 If you’re one of those #healthyvegan types, idealite is a must-visit 🙌 #penangvegan #veganisnotscary

This has easily become my favourite vegan dish in Malaysia 🙌 Better yet, from a health-oriented chain restaurant 😂 I first raved about it here https://www.abillion.com/dishes/idealite-queensbay-mall-vegetarian-fish-head-vermicelli-10139717 albeit at a different outlet 🍜 The #broth is just so amazingly thick and creamy — Probably made out of their equally creamy #soymilk paired with #vermicelli noodles. It’s not easy to get me to like #beehoon, so trust me when I say this is worth it! The #fritters idealite makes always has such a thick, flavourful #batter and in this dish made only better by the ability to dip in the #fish head broth 🐟 If you’re unfamiliar, the omnivore equivalent is actually made with deep-fried fish head & served in a milky broth, hence the elements they used here. Look at the abillion map in Penang, then realise there are probably more places on Google Maps that have yet to be reviewed 😎 #veganisnotscary and this definitely holds through in #penang 🏝️

Trying to do an #abillionhacks thingy by doing a duplicate review for the same item at a different branch https://www.abillion.com/reviews/617c9ffcead0a3009288d078 but between the app closing when I navigate away and my previous review for this somehow disappearing into thin air..? it’s sending me more #hackabillion vibes 🤭 So anyhow, it’s great tea. Shut up a month back in Kuching and then #christmas made me put on a few pounds 😑 Luckily however Idealite #makehealthytastegood 😗 It tastes nicer than it looks and what better a meal than one that makes you stuffed before you even get to the carbs because yes I eat my food topologically 🤪 You get 3 chunky #tofu blocks, some greens 🥬, a thingy of #seaweed, mushrooms 🍄, some corn 🌽, & matchstick carrots 🥕 on top of some delicious buckwheat (guessing) #ramen 🍜 The broth’s pretty plain but it’s exactly what I wanted 🥰 See, you can even have have healthy vegan food! Who’d have guessed! 😲 #veganisnotscary

吃得流连忘返，我每次看到黑芝麻都不放过的 😋😋 不输槟城的任何其他甜品 The consistency was so ridiculously smooth and the rich taste of #blacksesame was allowed to come through without being crowded out by sugar or random spices like they do at some places 😏 The base was #almondcream because why not ❤️, and the #almond flakes on top added a nice bit of crunch. Would order again in a heartbeat 😊 #accidentallyvegan

说七香就真的七香喔🤤🤤🤤 This #leicha comes with #multigrain rice, chopped #carrot, #longbeans, #cabbage, #chickpea, #tofu, #pumpkin floss, and 菜卜 (what's this in English? 😅). Then their homemade #greentea gravy (a secret recipe apparently, but the uncle will conspiratorially give you little flecks of wisdom 😉) brings everything together beautifully. I ordered an extra portion of the gravy because I liked it so much. Only RM16, I couldn't recommend this more highly #hakkafood #accidentallyvegan

The rendang was flavourful without being overly rich. I am usually very sensitive to coriander but in this instance I actually didn't mind it too much. The carrots, potatoes, and aubergines were boiled to just the right level of tenderness. And the monkey head mushrooms really stole the show. I would come back for this any day.
