This was a strange sandwich. The mix of grilled eggplants, pickled beets, olives, capers and vegan mayo made for an overly salty and pickly sandwich that I really didn’t enjoy. The bread was nice, however the fries were bland and dry. Most of Haven’s food is good but this was just a strange dish.

This dish is newly added to the menu, and it looked so interesting! Mock fried fish made from banana flower, under a bed of vegan tzatziki type sauce, with green mango salad on top and surrounded by fried potatoes. It was incredibly yummy! The banana flower was the perfect substitute for fish, as it had that flaky and stringy texture and I believe was wrapped with nori to give it that fish flavour. The green mango salad was so fresh and citrusy, which contrasted nicely with the relatively heavy other components. Certainly unique and I’m glad I tried it.

My partner got the tofu lok lak. To veganize this just ask for no egg, as lok lak usually comes with a fried egg on top. The sauce was that classic sweet and sour perfectly coating the tofu and herbs, and dipped in the super peppery and limey lok lak sauce it was a flavour bomb. I liked that it came with brown rice instead of white. And I especially loved the fresh green kampot peppers that just burst in your mouth when you bite into it.

We started with a veganized version of this dish. I love banana flower, and this really was one of the best banana flower salads I’ve had! It was so fresh, zesty, sweet, herby, and citrusy, with lots of crunchy textures to make for a really satisfying bite. The fragrant Thai basil was complimented by crunchy peanuts, lime, and onion. And you got some nicely marinated and juicy fried tofu pieces. Yummy!

This is like a piña colada with no alcohol. Fresh coconut and pineapple blended with some ice, and that’s it! Simple, fresh, naturally sweet, and so delicious. Super refreshing drink.

This tiny little carrot cake was awesome!!! I wish it was double the size, especially because I had to share:( it was so light and fluffy and full of warm autumn spices, while the passion fruit sorbet was citrusy and so refreshing. Together they were a perfect match.

This sorbet was fresh and fruity and very lovely. I preferred it to the mango sorbet from gelato lab.

For a pre-half-marathon dinner, this was perfect! Don’t want anything too spicy or saucy but something simple and carb-focused. This was actually so much better than I thought it was gonna be lol! The pesto was so flavourful and the peas and leeks were delicious!

This dish was very basic and overall not impressive. A little small and although it had moments of strong ginger flavour it was otherwise quite bland.

Don’t often order spring rolls but it was worth it cuz these were very good! The sauce was sweet, tangy and garlicky and the spring rolls were very crispy.

This thing was heavy and juicy and filling and tasted sooooo good! One of the best vegan 🌱 burgers I’ve had. Be cool my fellow vegans - you are the light 💡

A really rich and creamy curry! You have to ask for this to be made vegan as it’s labelled “vegan option available”. Loved the tamarind sauce that went with it, added a nice tang.
