We also tried the Mochi Melt for the first / last time based on Mallory's recommendation. I am usually a but reluctance to order burgers —since I can usually make them at home—I was really pleased with this choice. The housemade patty was juicy and flavorful, and topped with #vegan cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, and a special Zammy sauce. The toasted sourdough bread was also delish. We also upgraded adding a small order of fries, which were absolutely delicious. The meal was a fantastic value at under $13 and left me feeling very full. Saying goodbye to Zammy's is truly difficult. We visited one last time before they closed over the weekend, and while I’m sad to see this amazing #vegan restaurant go, I understand how challenging it has been for restaurants to stay afloat lately. Columbus has lost a lot of great spots, Mallory is a great person who genuinely cares about animals and making #plantbased options accessible to the community. I had the Buffaloadie wrap, which has always been one of my favorites. This time, I opted for the grilled chickn version vs thr fried. The wrap was packed with chickpeas, tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber and juicy Gardein brand #vegan chicken. I chose to have the #Buffalo sauce on the side due to its spiciness, and it was perfect for dipping. The wrap was also generously covered with Zammy's house-made ranch dressing, which I absolutely love for its creamy, cooling, and refreshing flavor. I am going to miss Zammy's. Columbus was super lucky to have them. 🙏🏻✨️ This salad was fantastic and original. This is the first #vegan cobb salad I've had. This bed of crispy romaine lettuce was topped with red and orange tomatoes, chickpeas, corn, cornbread croutons (Ollie's favorite), fried vegan chicken, housemade #vegan #egg and delicious creamy ranch dressing. My photo is trash (excuse to order it again🤣🌿💚), but this was DELICIOUS! I think they may keep it on their menu, not just remaining on the specials. The sandwich had so much delicious goodness, including #dairyfree cheeze, grilled and blistered tomatoes, spinach, and grilled chicken. It was then smothered in the most delicious green goddess dressing. It had so much flavor. I definitely want to order the Green Goddess salad, as well. This is the perfect summer sandwich and paira nicey with their Zammy's fries. They have such reasonable prices as well, so another reason I love coming here. A #peach #milkshake sounded great for summer! The peach flavor was really good, but I forgot that I don't love fruit + cream flavors; would personally prefer a peach ice or smoothie without the #oatmilk. But that was my bad! This is a fairly new item added to the Zammy’s menu. Today I have it a shot. This burger is made with a Zammy’s burger patty, spinach, tomato, house seitan, egg, cheese on a toasted brioche bun. There is a maple mustard sauce you can get but I forewent the sauce since I have a habit of getting drippy burger when eating. As you can see, this burger is stacked! I would not recommend trying to drive while eating this….take from that what you will. The seitan had a Smokey flavor to it which enhances this sandwich. The egg is good but for those who are used to eating regular eggs, they will note a difference in texture. But those are ones who I consider closed minded and not open to trying new foods. The cheese was nice and melty over the burger which adds to the fresh off the grill taste. Tried something new at Zammy’s. This is made with a house-made sunflower seed pesto, tomato, and cheese on sourdough bread that is toasted. The first bite is full of the pesto flavor. Then the other flavors of the sandwich meld together. Overall, this is a very good sandwich and one I would have again. My recommendation is to have napkins ready to go. 😁 The pic isn’t the best due to I ordered this to go and I wanted to try it while it was hot.
