Kampua Mee (No Egg)

Wow, I can't believe this kampua is vegan! The texture is actually more like kolo mee but I followed the others recommendation. Price-wise very good also only RM4 but my friends still want to order the expensive one because it has meat.

This is the best breakfast! 🤩 Especially before a flight leaving Kuching 🤭 If you’re looking for vegan #meekolok or #kampuamee for breakfast this is *the place* to go 😋 Their kampua mee tastes more like #mikolok than than their #kolok mee does honestly 😅 It’s the oil that does it for me! This is the small portion by the way! 🤯 ..and even then it’s a hard portion to stomach even if it is such a #bestpicks of a meal 🤤 @waterlily & @misskittysfantadisco magically downed a whole one though 😂 Remember to ask for the #eggfree version though when ordering cause they do offer a non-vegan one too!

I didn’t realise how infrequently I’ve been having noodles since accustoming to the #veganlife 🤨 And boy did this Kampua Mee just hit the spot. *primal grunts* Gahh! Also, I ordered takeout so I felt this needed to be re-plated at the ol’ office. (I like using the office ceramics anyway, as they are new 😅) Love me some nice dishes 🤓 Without question, I thoroughly enjoyed this A LOT more than the regular, Kolok Mee. It should be noted that this is really just my personal preference towards noodles WITHOUT a dark sauce coat. And their Kolok Mee is said dark sauce type. In fact, I’d say this Kampua Mee tastes just like your regular non-vegan Kolok Mee; in the best way 🤪 Instead, here it has the sweet fried tofu and mushrooms that fills your umami needs of the char siu. It then checks all the flavour boxes of the original 😋 The ONLY flaw was that it was too oily this time. I hope it was a fluke because i couldn’t stop myself from eating this up, despite the throat oiliness causing slight discomfort🙏 #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease As usual, this stall is great quality for even greater value. This sumptuous experience comes at the low price of RM 5!! 🤩 #worthit I can’t stop recommending this place! Come omnivores! Come vegans! Come all! 🥳
