This is the best lei cha we have ever tried EVER - not only are the ingredients fresh, organic and homegrown, every single menu item is made with love and a lot of labor! So much effort and time goes into hand making everything, you can taste the difference of this food made with love and care. The owners are the nicest people too. If I could eat anything everyday, it would be this Lei Cha and their tempeh!!! But also, the Assam Laksa was the best laksa we've ever tried - so refreshing with the perfect combination of sweet, sour, salty and tangy. Love it so much!

The picture doesn't do it justice. This was part of their daily special. Actually im not even sure if it's called that,they ran out of the curry tempeh special and offered me this instead. It's tempeh with thai basil. And some perhaps light soy sauce flavour. Fried together with ginger and red chilli. I love thai basil, and its a perfect combination with d tempeh. So simple,but so so good. So much love in their dishes you really get to taste it. And when paired together with the thunder tea kolo mee-perfect match! 14/90 #veganisnotscary

This was absolutely divine!!!!!!! Seriously so so good. I tried the rice one and loved it so much. But this kolo mee version, oh my.. insanely good. the noodles absorb the tea flavour so well and it was such a beautiful dish. i never thought i would enjoy thunder tea dishes this much. Am glad ill be working in this part of town for this month so i can try out their other dishes. 13/90 #veganisnotscary

First impression was very very pricey of $1.50 for such a small piece of tofu. Taste is delicious and a definite 4.5/5 , would definitely get again if I’m feeling rich HAHAH

It’s been so long since I’ve had such good dry noodles, seriously a 5/5 I cannot recommend enough! Noodles were springy, ingredients were delicious and well seasoned! Very very good

Thunder Tree brought back their asam laksa for one special day to celebrate their fifth birthday! I was lucky enough to snag a portion for lunch. This bowl of noodles was a joy to eat. It was bright, zesty and fragrant from the pineapple, tamarind, calamansi, fresh mint and torch ginger flower. The tartness was balanced out with a perfect amount of sweetness. There was gentle heat from the chillies. All these flavours were rounded off with just the right amount of a funky fermented flavour component. Delicious and satisfying. Highly recommended if they ever bring it back again!

Noodle was super springy! Quite a lot of toppings too :D I drank the soup separately because they already seasoned the noodles. Soup was quite fragrant and refreshing (?) (Note: They offer chili. It's pretty good but quite spicy so be careful!) Price: $7.80 (Had this at Raffles Hospital B1 food court outlet, not sure why the location keeps changing to Chinatown :/)

As much as I yearn to try the other dishes on their menu, I can’t help but order the thunder tea kolo mee each time I’m there! Made with the freshest veggies and the springiest kolo noodles, this is an absolute delight to eat each time!! Staff working there told me that business now is quite bad, so do support them if you can ✨
