Jesse got this delicious #pasta from the bakery near us. It was cool to see this #unique pasta shape. He made a yummy tomato-based sauce with smoked tofu and veggies blended it. The pasta held the sauce well. He said it was around $3 for the bag.

This pasta was perfect for a summer pasta salad. I love how big they are and the walls of the rigatoni are nice and thick. Even though mezzi rigatoni is "mini rigatoni", this is still a big pasta shape! These were found at Whole Foods, so they're a bit spendier, but I will pay a premium for nice pasta noodles. I imagine these would be amazing in a cheezy pasta bake using Miyoko's Creamery liquid mozzarella, but they were also perfect for an oil-based pasta salad! They go so well with big chunks of veggies.
