Vegan Mac and Cheese

The Sheridan Room is closing at the end of the month, so I had to stop over and try an array of the dishes. It's sad to see another Nordeast staple leave. If you can, get over there to try it out before it's gone. They have a great selection of vegan dishes on their menu. This is some great vegan Mac and cheese! We just got the side without the loaded accoutrements. The sauce wasn't really cheesey, but was still so warm and inviting. I think there's a subtle cozy spice in there, my best guess would be nutmeg. I loved the ratio of sauce to pasta and the texture was perfectly creamy. P.S. I was given a new phone (3 generations newer than my old phone) so look at that beautiful photo quality! 😍 I'm so excited to take so many food pics with this advanced camera. #macandcheese #pasta #vegancheese

It’s vegan week at this restaurant. The Mac and cheese with the Herbivorous Butcher cheese and bacon is over the top good! Onions, peppers and mushrooms are a delightful combination. Love, love, love vegan week!!
