Hamli & Atter With Sourdough Injera

Keren View Vegan Restaurant is such a wonderful discovery. Every dish description sounded tasty and the two I chose to combine Hamli - spinach, onion & garlic, Atter - split yellow chickpeas cooked in onion and turmeric, were delicious. Sourdough bread - injera - is a perfect accompaniment. This is authentic Eritrean and East African food. The woman who runs the restaurant was so welcoming and spoke lovingly about the Eritrean passion for vegan food. I’ll be returning.
