Sichuan Long Beans

Yum! This dish was good, also very spicy, but not so much I couldn’t eat two helpings. The beans are just lightly cooked so there is still a bit of a bite to them. A very good side dish.

Honestly I’m living the life eating #szechuan food almost every other day for the past week 😂 I can literally feeeelll the breakouts building under my skin from all the oil 😝 It’s okay half my looks are my fashion sense anyways 💅 cause how can I resist?? This was a tad too oily though and lacked the #spicy kick I was really looking for, but it’ll do 😋

Ok so there aren’t a lot of healthy things to eat at a Sichuan restaurant. Everything is pretty much fried or drenched in a broth of chili oil. But these fried green beans are sort of healthyish and absolutely delicious! I pretty much look for this dish every time I go to a Chinese restaurant and it’s awesome. The beans are fried, have a great bite and spicy 🌶🌶🌶 and they’re so much fun to eat! #healthyish #sichuan #chengduinsingapore
