Assam Laksa

ASK FOR NO EGG TO MAKE IT VEGAN! first thing you’ll notice about this dish

is the smell!! it’s really strong and fragrant (to me) and the broth tastes and smells very similar to actual asam laksa if i remember correctly. the mock fish was okay, not a big fan of mock sliced fish in general but the cucumbers and raw mangoes was really refreshing and added lots of depth to this dish.

It’s amazing how much this tastes like the true assam laksa. It’s lovely and sharp

from the lime and the mock fish is a nice addition. Lots of noodles in here so it’s a very filling meal in itself, and really good value.

I asked for the vegan version and the flavour was really good. I enjoyed it!
