Wanton Mee

Great value at neighborhood prices. Generous serving size too

I wasn't expecting anything from this very well-patronised vegetarian eatery so this delightful wanton mee really surprised me. The star of the show has got to be the rich savory sauce. I opted for a spicy version (not explicitly stated in the menu; you've got to request for it) which delivered just the right amount of spice and kick. The wanton was forgettable but the soft and mildly sweet mock char siew added interest to the dish. The portion of wanton mee was rather generous and it came with some leafy greens as well.
