Warung Ijo makes the best
vegan sambal on the island. There…. I said it!
For me, this is by far the best I have tried. The chilli served with
it, is pretty good too. My ‘cheat day’. 😂😂
If you like Indonesian food, this place has pretty much most of it.
They have about 3-4 dishes they can’t veganise. But the majority is vegan.

Warung Ijo is one of my fav vegetarian restaurants in town. Normally I get the
Nasi Padang but decided to try the Nasi Lemak this time. Really flavorful!
This dish comes with an egg, but they got mine replaced with boiled brocoli. It
is indeed a satisfying dish, the portion is good too. The fried fish is really amazing, it is quite tender and have the "fishy" taste. The sambal is not as spicy as I thought it would be, still very tasty and its sweetness is not overpowering.
Swap the egg for more veggies. And bam you’ve got a rockin plate of vegan
goodness.
