Ok this was šŸ’Æ. My friend recommended me this (itā€™s my first time there) and

it was flavourful, assam well balanced with a hint of sweetness! Pineapples were fresh and the yuba isnā€™t like those frozen ones. This is flakey but not mushy!

Oh my god this fish dish is seriously amazing. So creamy and sour and great

over rice. Vegan fish is made from soy and seaweed, Cooked to perfection. Love!

This was a really good assam dish, could really taste the tanginess and the tamarind

and they were very generous with the ā€˜fishā€™ and vegetables as well which included tomatoes, pineapples, and thinly cut okra. Really nice gravy to douse onto rice.

7/10 the vegan asam fish from warung lijo was surprisingly real. The skin wasnt rlly

like fish skin (obviously seaweed) but the texture of the fish meat was quite similar. The asam gravy was a very pleasant sour and sweet, very å¼€čƒƒ (appetising). The pineapples and tomato were great of course. Overall, it was an ambitious dish (considering that itā€™s very meat focused) but it was rlly quite decent, especially with the gravy!

meat-eating colleague said sheā€™d come back just to have this and a bowl of rice! the fish is rolled up beancurd skin which I think is my fav meat analogue - but could see it being bland for some


This was my favourite dish. Tangy, super full of flavour, delicious! The fish was made

those typical Chinese style mock fish, which I'm not usually a fan of but it melted beautifully into the curry. I'm hungry just thinking about it LOL


This was really yummy though not as spicy as I would have preferred otherwise this

would have been 5 stars on taste! There were pineapples, tomatoes and okras in there which were well cooked too and this accompanies rice very well!


Wow, the fish texture on point! šŸ‘ŒThis is a sweet and tangy gravy that you

can pair with their jasmine rice. The pineapples add the sourness element which was quite good but the real star of the dish is the mock fish.


Amazing how they can veganize this dish! The mock fish has a rubbery soft texture.

The sauce is tangy and tasty - love the bits of vegetables and pineapples.
