We picked this because we love lion's mane and we wanted to try a dish
with unfamiliar ingredients. Three cup sauce is made from sesame oil, rice wine, and soy sauce. It wasn't as deeply savory as the soy oyster sauce was. But I liked trying something with a different flavor profile. The oyster mushroom chunks were huge and soaked up the flavor well! The remaining ingredients in this dish are: bamboo cub, string beans, carrots, zucchini, ginkgo, cinnamon, angelica, and fried ginger. The gingko was a new food for me. It has a starchy texture and not much of an initial taste, but left a bitter aftertaste. The zucchini isn't like zucchini I know, but must be another kind of summer squash. I didn't really enjoy that vegetable in the dish either. I'm glad we ventured to choose something different, but it wasn't as big a hit for me as the familiar flavors in the Broccoli Soy Beef.
