Vegetarian Fried Black Bean Stinky Tofu

The only time I saw stinky tofu before, it wasn’t veg; so, I’m happy for this opportunity to try. Yes, it is stinky but I would call it distinctive stinky rather than bad stinky

$6 for a Small size of black tofu. I liked that they offered a black tofu version, as black soybeans are more nutritious and lower in carbs than the usual yellow soybeans. The black tofu was slightly less crispy and more tender than the white tofu. The tofu did not have a strong stinky aroma or taste. I got the dry five spices flavour which was savoury but did not really leave an impression. Would recommend a spicy flavour instead.
