today at lunch the lady told me about their latest efforts at making VFC— as

someone who loves fried food, i had to try it and i’m so glad i did! the batter is amazing and crunchy.. so well balanced with the soft and fibrous texture (of the mushrooms?) on the inside. it comes with an array of delicious sides that axcompanied the VFC : baked beans, fries and even a salad made outta thinly sliced fruits and veggies (even mint!) a nice touch as that was a real palate cleanser at the end of the meal. it was 7.90SGD and real filling, i’d eat this ALL the time. truly a junk food vegan’s dream come truuu 🥳🦋

how the HELL can this exist, please someone explain to me. this is absolutely insane.

i think it’s made from
mushrooms, the batter is very very close to kfc, there’s no way they could have done it batter themselves. we bought a packet of vfc alone for $10, instead of a meal, the portion is massive and for mock meat of this quality, a restaurant would be selling this portion for $29++. fries in the picture were my own

Had to give this dish a try! It's made with oyster mushrooms I think. tasty

dish when eaten hot! For some reason I didn't get the side coleslaw when I ordered it but overall still a yummy dish #abillionturns3

We felt pretty unsatisfied from Sauté Sushi so we had this for lunch part 2.

This did not disappoint - crispy like KFC chicken skin. Will def be back for more. There’s 20% off for takeaway currently so we dabao-ed and sat on 2 random chairs outside a closed shop nearby to munch on these crunchy goodies. DELISH. Saw a couple of people dining in who were served in disposables. Remember to BYO! 🌏

This was a delicious plate of fried oyster mushrooms! The batter and taste was right

on point. Maybe I should’ve ordered a meal or some veg/drinks to neutralize the plate of fried mushrooms cos I felt quite thirsty/sick afterwards 🥴 this is a good plate for sharing!

This definitely satisfy my craving for fried “chicken” 🤤 It remained crunchy despite being reheated.

Taste-wise it is not exactly like “chicken”, you could tell that it was made of mushroom. But I can live with that.

This is good, and now I get why some people were raving about it. The

thick oyster mushrooms provide some sort of a meaty texture, so it is not all just crunchy air. This is great when shared because it would be far too sinful to eat all of it alone.

Very crunchy, oily and sinful but super tasty as a fried side! Made with mushrooms

that have a great bite :D ! $8.90 for a portion :)
