This consisted of authentic-tasting house-made 🦃-free meat, smoky tempeh 🥓, shredded lettuce, tomato, onion, creamy pesto aioli, spicy and sweet carrot-habanero jam, and balsamic glaze, plus 🐮🥛-free provolone and cucumberson a satisfyingly chewy Dos Hermanos Bakery ciabatta hoagie roll. The mix of lively complementary flavors, meaty, cheesy, and creamy with crisp, fresh veggies was very satisfying. My first time eating sandwiches from Better Half with my better half, and I found a heart shaped potato chip. ❤️ This vegan Turkey TLT sandwich was deeee-licious. 😋 It includes their house made vegan turkey, smoky tempeh bacon, avocado, shredded lettuce, tomato, onion, pesto aioli, carrot-habanero jam, and balsamic glaze on a ciabatta hoagie, with housemade chips & a pickle on the side. The flavors and textures were SO good, and I’m always a sucker for chewy ciabatta bread. The mix of meaty, cheesy, and creamy with crisp, fresh veggies was wonderful. Served with a pickle and thick-cut house-made potato chips with skin on the edges and sprinkled with herbs.
