As amazing as the vegan croissants at Marc Heu are, I was looking forward to seeing if they would make something a bit more special. We were so lucky this weekend having three vegan pastry choices: croissants, chocolate croissants, and cinnamon rolls!
I'm surprised they call this a chocolate croissant. It's definitely a pain au chocolat shape! It has incredible airy layers as I would expect from Marc Heu! It also has that nice light glaze that the croissants have. This makes it perfect for dipping in an earl grey latte. The chocolate is really rich and chocolate. I hope they continue to offer more vegan choices! Definitely holding out hope for an almond croissant.
