Bunny’s Nook Kitchen is a :mostly: vegan cafe, but they do serve some real egg dishes and also chicken & turkey dishes, as well as honey. With a name like Bunny’s, I think there’s hope they could eventually ditch meat & eggs, so I’ll of course poke them! 😊 This breakfast burrito consists of tofu, Very Good Butcher sausage, vegan cheddar, peppers, mushrooms, pico, greens, avocado 🥑, and a side of vegan chipotle mayo. This was a large & tasty burrito packed with flavor, and my partner and I enjoyed sharing it. I appreciated the fact that they served the chipotle mayo in a tin ramekin instead of a plastic one. I always notice when places give a plastic ramekin for sauce even for those who are dining in 😔 — this is such a simple thing that can be avoided and switched in an effort to reduce single-use plastic. If you’re looking for some tasty #vegan pastries or savory dishes, or even a large selection of vegan milkshakes, then check out Bunny’s when visiting Victoria and in the Esquimalt neighborhood. #victoriabc #victoriaveganeats #bunnysnookkitchen #plantbased #breakfast #breakfastburrito #veganproud #esquimalt
I've tried a few different versions of these breakfast burritos as they seem to popular on the vegan cafe scene. This cafe was mostly vegan but not fully. I appreciate the efforts in their menu. Not a bad effort but not the best i've had, typical seasoned tofu with good butcher pattys bits, v cheese, avocado, organic torilla chipotle mayo and pico de galo. Lacking a bit of good sauce to want you go extra mmm!
I have eyed up this #breakfastburrito before but finally got around to trying it. It was full of yummy stuff, including #scrambledtofu and some #housemade #picodegallo. Overall, it was pretty good, but I think I preferred their lunch offerings.
Loaded with tofu and #theverygoodbutchers patty, this was a filling meal. Healthy dose of buffalo sauce and more lettuce than wrap did it for me. Loved it. #veganin2020
