No Crab Noodles

My boss wanted to buy lunch for my department and I suggested Kind Bowl -

since it’s near and my colleagues have been curious about it. I’m glad they all liked it!! #veganisnotscary

Overall one of the best Vietnamese noodle soups I've had. The broth has a very

strong umami taste which adds to its multidimensional flavor. Every bite is very nuanced and flavorful so you definitely won't get jelak eating this. It's tangy, salty and has a hint of spiciness at the same time — sadly, I live far away from both outlets, if not I would be a more regular customer 😢

The lighting in my photo isn’t the most inspiring but this was pretty good! The

tomato-based soup was a good balance of sweet, savoury, and spicy. The mint and coriander made the whole dish taste really fresh too. Liked the springy tofu included too. But there were lots of chili padi, which made it a bit too spicy for me when I accidentally bit into them #veganisnotscary

Mild tangy spicy 🌶 broth filled with pineapples, tomatoes,mint leaves and herbs. Very flavourful bowl

of vegan Vietnamese noodles. The tofu based crab meat is tasty and very creative to thought of using tofu as crab meat. You can request to opt out allium.

Noodles is thick rice vermicelli type and well cooked with good slurp and bite. Different

ingredients, tomatoes, mushrooms, herbs; went into the cooking of broth and broth can be a little salty. Generous with herbs for this bowl.

In love with the sweet tangy soup- perfect for rainy weather! Reminds me of a

mild assam or tom yum soup.
Even though I had ordered a takeout and reheated it before eating, the noodles were still perfect. I just wished it had a little more mushrooms and tofu!!!

This was very good. The broth is sour and refreshing. Generous amount of rice noodles,

green sprouts, herbs, and other toppings. Very worth it 👏

Nice and spicy with so much herbs, veggies and toppings that the noodles were lost.

At first, I thought this dish is basically thick rice vermicelli in Tom Yum soup.

The soup tasted very refreshing and flavourful with a nice balance of sweetness and sourness. The spiciness of the soup is like you've added a good dash of pepper, so it is not spicy to me actually. The dish is so complete with ingredient-packed tofu, garnished with herbs and fried onions.

To add on, the soup is not Tom Yum but tomatoes soup, as stated in the menu description: "spicy fermented “no crab” paste tomatoes soup, silky tofu, finest mushroom served with whole grain vermicelli topped with tangy lime and aromatic herbs."
