Tau Hu Goreng

Love the fresh julienned cucumber strips and beansprouts, less a fan of the #veganfriendly peanuty sauce which tasted very 'prawn-y' to me (traditionally, the tauhu goreng sauce that goes atop the deepfried tofu does have shrimp paste in it).

I absolutely loved the Tauhu Goreng! The fried beancurd is perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, sitting on a fresh bed of julienned cucumber and crunchy beansprouts. The star of the dish has to be Violet's signature sweet and tangy peanut sauce—it's the perfect finishing touch that ties everything together. A must-try if you're in the mood for something light and refreshing!

Loved this starter. The tau hu was crisp on outside and soft on the inside. The vegan sauce was to die for. Highly recommended.
