I was glad I upgraded to the garlic rice. The presentation was also fantastic, and this is a beautiful as well as tasty dish. Everything is vegan, and my kosher friend was excited to have shrimp again. He actually liked this shrimp better. I found them at the Vegas VegFest, and I will check them out again if I am in the area. #vegfest
lok lac, served with rice and salad' on their online menu however we got this at a food festival pop up so there were some minor changes- the shrimp had a sweet walnut sauce and the lok lac was with pork. The shrimp had a fantastic texture. My friend found the garlic rice a little under cooked, likely because of the high order rate at the festival, but the flavor was great. This is also just a very pretty dish, look at that flower.
fried to perfection. I got the dish with garlic rice which was so flavorful. I kind of wish the shrimp had a sauce, but the garlic rice balanced it out well.
I brought the leftovers to work and my coworkers commented on how delicious it smelled. I would 100% eat this again.
