The serving is generous. Cedele is definitely well known for its market positioning as a healthier place to dine. On its wall, “Eat Well, Be Well” stood out. Let me start to eat my burger! But it is too big for me even if I open my mouth to the widest possible 😅 The burger bun is nutritionally packed with bits of walnuts. 👍🏻This isn’t the usually white soft fluffy burger bun. When I lift up the top bun, sitting nicely is chopped portobello mushrooms & sprouts. These taste 👅 so good. I always like portobello mushrooms 🍄 & healthy sprouts. This is really healthy as the patty is grilled & there is hardly any grease at all. There are grilled marks & spinach leaves could be seen in the patty. When patty is cooked in a pool of oil…it soaks the grease & make it moist & oily & unfortunately unhealthy. But the grilled patty is so healthy that it is so dry 😬 I ate the patty on its own, maybe it would have been better if I eat it with all other ingredients. It would definitely be helpful for Cedele to plan a smaller size burger for ladies… even my husband opens his biggest possible mouth struggles to bite it! The coriander pesto is definitely a creative take on the usual basil 🌿 pesto, cheaper but less flavorful. I couldn’t taste any vegan mayo as described on the menu. The bottom half of the bun is definitely easier to eat as the tomatoes slices, rocket leaves & pesto sauce provides the much needed moisture. The sweet potatoes fries is too deep fried & add dryness to the whole meal. The salad by the side couldn’t rescue me. I finished up my 500ml of water while eating this meal. Price $16.50. It is definitely a healthy meal but the overall experience has definitely been dampened by the dryness

This is the second vegan option for burgers on the menu. The patty is a bit drier as compared to their Beetroot patty but the avocado provides the moisture in it. They added plenty of veggies like corainder and carrots into the patty as well to enhance the flavour as well. Together with the grilled mushrooms and fresh veggies, there is a burst of different flavours with each bite and it goes really well with the freshly toasted and warm buns. As much as i enjoy this, the taste may be a bit complicated for some. Suggestion to opt for the othet option if needed :)
