This is one of the @abillion10 team’s favorite lunch spots near our office in #singapore!

For $6.50 they serve an incredible #nasilemak which is a Malaysian dish of vegetables and coconut rice cooked. It’s such an amazingly balanced meal with veggies and the most delicious spicy gravies and sauces. It’s been a while since I had this and I went back after seeing my colleagues @davnil and @mparramon popping out of there with their reusable lunch containers 💪🏽 Thanks for the tip guys!

What a treat! Brought @deinocheirus to try this and was my first time too. Rice

could have more coconut. Love the mix of ingredients, especially the mushroom curry, though it isn’t super close to the traditional nasi lemak dish. Chilli was very spicy, probably wouldn’t add it next time. $6 for eat in, $5 for takeaway if you bring your own container. #vegbuddies

Good to be back in Singapore and in the office again 🎉 There’s so much

amazing #cheapvegan food around and both @davnil and @mparramon have literally been begging me to try this place 🤭 Considering how good of a recommendation this place was I might actually consider listening to them a little more! 🫣 We basically walked in and just got the “order of the day”, a thing they apparently do where they just make one meal a day! Talk about the lean approach 😙 The #nasilemak is by no means traditional with #cashew in place of #peanut and a #toohealthy side of #cauliflower and #longbeans instead of anchovies 🐟 They also went the blasphemous route of mixing the #sambal and #curry portions of a meal.. into a single confusing mix 🧐 It’s as much one as it is the other and the #hericiummushroom they used pretty much just winded up as an odd soft mash lost in the transliteration of cuisine 👩‍🍳 It’s still 4/5 stars ✨ though because as much as I’m a #malaysianeats snob, moving more of my belongings to Singapore over the weekend has made me a little more loyal to their culinary nightmares 🧛‍♀️

Simple lifestyle proposes one meal every day and it's always delicious. It's a little far

from a traditionnal nasi lemak but definitely worth it.

It's full of crunchy vegetables, cucumbers, green beans, cashew nuts, cauliflower, and feels very healthy to eat overall, not greasy at all.

#nasilemak #rice

Defo the healthiest nasi lemak I've ever had! Loved every component on this, especially the

mushroom rendang. The coconut rice was great too. Came with a nice tomato potato soup which I forgot to take a photo of. Really good value for $5 if you bring your own takeaway container! Only complaint is that it's nothing like an actual nasi lemak lol but I don't really mind #sgeats

Love how nourishing and wholesome the food is from this place. Got the special of

the day which was Nasi Lemak, and it came with a hot bowl of soup too 😋 . #goodvibes all around

The tomato-based soup was quite good today, but I feel that the nasi lemak was

lacking substance. It had many vegetables as usual, but there was no protein really (something like tempeh would’ve been nice!) and there was very little sambal so it was not spicy. I’ve had better things from this place :)

First mouthful and I am convinced that I will be back for more! Today’s lunch

special is Vegan Nasi Lemak and wow, it was so, so, so delicious, especially the mushroom rendang that had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy.

The chilli added a little kick to the dish and it was a real delight to munch on the crunchy nuts and vegetables. The basmati rice was light and airy which was a huge plus for me because I tend to get bloated after every meal... But not this! To end things off, the cauliflower and tomato soup with bits of corn kennels was simple but yaaa-ummm-mehhh!

Thanks @herbimetal for introducing this amazing eatery to me and for the enjoyable lunch company :)

P.S: It’s $6 for dine-in and $5.50 for take-aways. If you’re taking out, remember to bring along your tupperware!

Healthy bowl of nasi lemak. Rice has subtle coconut taste (means healthier for some)

but some may prefer the taste to be stronger. Loved the mushroom rendang best. Generous carrots and corn in the soup! Will be back to try other dishes

I have mixed feelings about this dish. Not because it wasn’t delicious - it was

really delicious and the portion was good and controlled (not too much rice that you enter a rice coma). However, I found that this dish resembled nothing like a Nasi Lemak - maybe the cucumber and coconut rice?

As someone who’s had great a many Malaysian nasi lemaks in my life - I was left confused as to why this dish was called that especially since I’ve had other vegan versions of this dish and they ressemble the concept/taste much better than this place.
