How is it that the simplest of ingredients can come together & become something so
sublime? The chefs at Ruk Sushi & Thai know the secret to doing just that & they turn out the best sweet potato rolls I’ve ever had.
Interestingly, their version of the classic sweet potato roll doesn’t have the tempura crunch most rolls have & while I thought I’d miss it, I didn’t. Ruk tops their version with a delicious ‘eel’ sauce - vegan of course. *Please note this item must be veganized by ordering it without cream cheese.
We ordered this as an appetizer to share. Next time, I’ll order two.
One of the owners will likely take your order, is incredibly knowledgeable about the ingredients in their food, can quickly affirm if a menu item can be veganized & will double check ingredients for any sauce or item not made in house. Super friendly, in a lovely storefront space & reasonably priced, too. Oh yum, I’ve found my new favorite Thai Sushi place & can’t wait to return. 🥢
