First time having roasted “chicken” with fragrant rice. The rice is nice and well-cooked for me, as I prefer soft rice (not too hard) . The roasted “chicken” to me is more like roasted “fatty pork” , especially the texture, which is something that I like. Little crispiness, and also there’s tender layer. The rice wasn’t as fragrant as I would’ve liked but it was still really delicious overall! The dish came with a side of soup with peanuts, lotus roots and lion’s mane mushroom. The broth tasted like braised peanuts and I really enjoyed it! The dish itself was also really delicious and I loved the texture of the mock meat. It was fantastic together with the free flow chilli that is available. I must say their chilli bar is extensive and amazing! I would definitely get this again! #veganuary
