Was going to try Ethiopian cuisine for the first time and thought this platter (for

2 people) was a good way to to get a taste of as many dishes as I could so.
It had a total of 9 items including green beans, mixed vegetable, and yellow split peas (my favorite in the items) served with injera (a kind of flatbread).
It was definitely healthy and the overall format of the platter reminded me of traditional Indian “thalis”, which are also served with rotis (circular bread made of wheat), salads, different cooked vegetables, and dal (also made of yellow split peas).
The overall taste of most items was sour as opposed to mildly spicy, which I would prefer. But each cuisine is developed to suit dietary requirements based on the climate of the region and its local ingredients and I’m glad to have tried it.
Also really liked the interior decor of the restaurant.
