
Petai, the seeds of the Parkia Speciosa tree. Also known as stink bean. Because like asparagus, something will stink 🤣 It’s an acquired taste, I like it. Thankfully, so do some of my friends. This fried rice was also served with vegan egg 🍳 and vegan satay. My heat level was 2 🌶️ 🌶️ As a dish, it was pretty tasty. 😋
The best Indonesian restaurant in sg as far as I'm concerned. Spice levels can b easily altered. Only wish their cabe ijo is spicier
I can’t get enough of #Indonesian food, so here I am again at Warung Ijo, trying their #Petai #FriedRice. I freaking love petai! They’re simply the best kind of beans 😍 If you remember my last #WarungIjo post, I mentioned that level 4 isn’t too #spicy, so this time, I opted for level 5 spicy, which was good! The #keropok was crispy, the #lionmane #mushroom #satay was chewy and delicious, and the @onlyeg sheet was soft and #juicy. The whole plate was kickin’. I enjoyed my meal here. a bit oily but if i want something non oily i should cook myself yeah. so yums i love this place. also i always get an avocado shake with oat milk at this place - with gula melaka- so good!!! also got ayam penyet that i got for my non vegan friend and she said its so good?!!???? this place is awesome hahahaha
