Can't remember what I paid for this but it was a complete steal, nothing beats #cheapandcheerful in the north of Malaysia ☺️ This stall serves up #cendol (sticking to orthodox Malay spelling because I like orthodoxy, unlike whoever created the initial entry for this dish 🤪) in disposable plastic bowls to reduce service turnaround times; they share a small dining area with several other stalls serving (largely non-vegan) local fare, and diners share tables with strangers 😅 It's that kind of place But compensation as due is made directly to your #sweettooth 😊 The #redbeans are a fantastic support act, but the #santan #gulamelaka - especially as the shaved ice is in the transitional nether zone of mushiness between solid and liquid - steal the show 😊
