Look to the actual island to get the best #penang #prawnnoodles with the perfect pairing of chewy #carbsforlife in the form of beehoon mee (by default). On this different island, we've got more options 👉 Meesua ($1 addon), yellow #noodles, thick & thin #beehoon or a mixture of above. $7.60 netted no more than 2 (2cm) cubes of #tofu (despite veganizing it sans egg), konjac #shrimps and a slice of #fish. Broth was light and savoury (and some may say spicy) yet nothing remotely close to the standards at any of those drive-pass vegetarian booths on Pulau Pinang itself. Good try but lacking a certain sweetness reminiscent of this iconic dish up north #beansprouts #kangkong
