A-Lamak Burger

The A-lamak Burger ($9.90), inspired by nasi lemak, provided a smorgasbord of strong flavours. There

was a seaweed soya 'fish' patty, crispy mushroom 'ikan bills', roasted peanuts, and spicy nasi lemak chilli paste atop a bed of lettuce with refreshing cucumber and tomato slices. I do wish there had been a vegan fried egg to complete the nasi lemak experience. NomVNom seems brilliant at creating fusion fast food incorporating local flavours.

Crispy Mushroom, Shredded Japanese Cucumber, Tomatoes and Coral Lettuce. The nasi lemak chilli paste has great flavour. Allium free.

Wow a nasi lemak burger! The tempeh patty is great, and the peanuts are true

to nasi lemak, but no coconut milk rice. This was really spicy, and I couldn’t taste the mock ikan bilis that well as it was too spicy.

My new favourite burger from NomVnom. Sambal got kick. Nice soft buns and crispy fried

mushrooms to resemble ikan bilis. Too good

If you’ve never had a nais lemak before, this is interestingly one way for you

to try how it taste like! It has the peanuts, cucumber and the sauce all come together to taste like real Nasi Lemak with every bite! Really enjoyed it! 5/5 for originality!

This is a vegan nasi lemak burger!! And true to the nasi-lemakness, oil dripped out

as I ate it. Loved the sambal and peanuts would 200% get this again

My mom had this and I had quite a few bites to contribute 🤭 Flavorful

and full of texture, for mock fish this was really good, love the peanuts and chilli paste that encompasses everything!

A well-made and delicious burger. Bun was housemade, soft and fluffy.
