I loved the ‘fish’ usually I’m a bit funny about texture but it was perfect,

the batter was light and crispy just how I like it and my wife loved the sausages in batter. Having lived up north for a few years I do love chips and gravy or chips and curry sauce, I travel far and wide to find a chippy that does vegan curry sauce, this didn’t let me down. We will definitely go back, and if you’re anywhere near Brighton, this is a must. We sat in and the atmosphere was really welcoming and friendly, place looks good too.

This dish is perfection. The best vegan fish and chips I’ve ever tried, maybe the

best fish and chips ever honestly. I took 2 non vegans and both couldn’t stop raving about it either. We ordered a couple of different fried fishes and this was our favourite on the menu. I would travel to Brighton just for this honestly. #veganfish #veganisnotscary #veganbrighton 🐟🐠

Big cheers to Ed Winters and Company for starting this Vegan Fish n Chips Restaurant.

I had a day out on Brighton Beach with family and suggested this might be the place for late lunch. I don’t know about you but I’m always a bit nervous about suggesting a completely vegan place to others, in case the food is not to their liking and puts them off the idea of going vegan. Well, no danger of that at No Catch. Everyone loved their choice and said quote, “It’s better than Fish”.
The #vegancod texture was really good, just the right degree of chewy. The layer of seaweed gives it a distinctive ‘of the sea’ taste sensation. There were plenty of delicious piping hot chips, with a gherkin on the side and a little tub of tartare sauce to share.
I chose the regular sized Cod which cost £11.49 and was ample.
The homemade tartare and gherkin were each 99p.
The staff were lovely. It was great to relax and know that everything on the menu was cruelty free.
They have a really good playlist on the go and it’s right on the sea front.
I hope #tofish will be championed as Great British food one day soon.

No catch ✨
I had the cod and chips, my mum and sister had the

smoked haddock, and we all had tartare sauce of course. We were all really impressed and loved it. Presentation is so lovely. The fish was a good texture and really tasty, the chips were amazing!
Nice vibe in the restaurant, friendly staff and they were really knowledgeable and reassuring about my peanut allergy and my mum’s celiac disease (they have a separate fryer for gf but can’t guarantee no cross contamination) #veganfish #allergyfriendly #glutenfree

This was a thrilling discovery that the No Catch van was at the Ethical Vegan

Event in Walton upon Thames yesterday. We ate our way through the whole menu. Everything was sooooo good and omni friends were loving it. I think they should post where the van is going to be online so people can follow it. #veganmarket Prawns we’re my favorite I think but I forgot to take a picture. Doh.

Amazing fish and chips in #Brighton! So tender and flavourful. The texture is fish-like. Plus,

there's a skin made from seaweed! The No Catch Company was co-founded by the vegan activtist Earthling Ed in 2021! #earthlinged

I have wanted to try this for ages, but I live nowhere near Brighton. Luckily

they had their mobile van at vegan campout this year and the vegan fish and chips was absolutely amazing. Definitely the best vegan fish using tofu I have had. However, I still think banana blossom is a better alternative than the tofu. The chips and the tartar sauce was perfect. £12.50 which is quite expensive, but was pretty reasonable compared to other vendors at vegan campout.

So so good, absolutely delicious must try!
Grew up vegetarian so afraid I can't comment

on how it compares as a mock fish to the usual fish and chips, but just loved it. Crispy seaweed on the 'cod' gave it the smell and taste of the sea. Chips were superb.
Purchased this dish at their mobile stall at this year's VCO but will definitely pay No Catch a visit when next down in Brighton.

Very decent fish and chips. I got the regular cod and chips with a side

of tartar sauce. There’s a 5% gratuity fee added which brought the total up to just over £13

The best "fish" I've ever had. You wouldn't guess thta it was made from tofu

at all.
Fried freshly in front of me, it was crispy, but somehow still soft and "fish" like in texture and taste on the inside. The chips were just as good too. I would have never guessed the tartare sauce was non vegan either. I need them to come back up to the Midlands again regularly 😅
