Nice dish! Chewy and can really taste the yam. A pity that it doesn't come
with any chilli sauce. But the dish is still nice on it's own. Will definitely order again!

I could cry tears of joy! Abacus beads or suan pan zi is a Hakka
dish I had all the time when I was young. It’s usually fried with minced pork.

First time trying yam abacus. Not bad! Soft, chewy and can taste a bit of
the yam in the centre. Served with veg crunchy bits which added more texture to the dish

The abacus is soft, chewy, with a hint of yam. A spoonful
of abacus with its savory sauce, mushrooms, and what looked and tasted like a sweet crispy soy topping, makes a mouthful of rich flavours.

The abacus seeds were soft and chewy. Well flavoured in the sauce. The mock pork
lard added a nice touch.
Always a must-order because I don't come here very often. Love the savoury gravy that
comes with the abacus pieces, something different from other places. So many nice crispy bits and mushroom sticks on the side to chew on and complement the dish in texture and flavour! Handmade and this is one of their signature dishes. ❤❤❤❤
I love 算盤子。 haven’t tasted them for a long long time. However think this dish
isn’t suitable for take outs or delivery. It kinda dried up hence affecting the texture and overall taste. Still a very good abacus dish for me.. 🤓
