I’ve not had #idli since I’ve gone vegan. Curiously not because it needs be #veganized; It needn’t! ..but because I’ve always found the ones I’ve had a touch too sweet 🤮 and I’m all for my food to be savoury. The #curry and #chutney here come in handy if you’d rather dip the idli but I was happy to savour the wonderful lentil flavour of the cake. I do wonder how their recipe differs since it should be a basic dough of lentils and rice but at only S$2.50 each I’m not complaining. This was delicious!
to make it vegan. The sambar and basics ( idli, vada, plain dosa) are simply the best!
