Medu Vada

Usually the vada here used to be good but yesterday this was a disaster. I did not like the black pepper in that but to be fair lot of vadas have it. The chutneys were amazing the sambhar was sad.

The Medu vada is a South Indian fritter made from urud dahl. It is usually made in a doughnut shape, with a crispy exterior and soft interior. Really delicious here at Murugan Idli. Dipped in the sambar and assortment of chutneys elevates the flavor and it just melts in your mouth!
