finally tried the vegan Murtabak at Springleaf Prata Place! I thought it was good (& m a sucker for fried, oily & unhealthy stuff 🥴), bc the outer skin was crispy and the filling was not too overwhelmingly rich or anything! (Side note: also ordered the ice tea w/o milk & it was very sweet 😢) I think I’ll have to have a gym sesh later... 😆
Mmm! That's both the short form name for this dish as well as my reaction to it. It is filled with a tasty filling, while still having a crispy outer layer. One problem though is the murtabak disintegrates if not eaten quickly (e.g. if you order takeaway and only eat it 30 mins later). So best to have it at Springleaf itself.

Springleaf Prata is always innovating! I love that they have a meatless murtabak on their menu. The orange mash was lentils, and they also had bell peppers, mushrooms and vegan mayo in this mix too. I wouldn't order it again because I like the veg murtabak alot more but this is an interesting alternative to try! This cost $6.90.
