My partner and I just picked up (and were blown away by) some food from
Love Madre cafe in Cheltenham. I opted for a ‘sausage’ roll and let me say...it’s the best vegan sausage roll I’ve had. I find many vegan sausage rolls can be quite dry, but this was wonderful and well seasoned. The pastry was buttery and perfect too. I also had a vanilla and raspberry sandwich cookie which was by no means a ‘health cookie’ but...sometimes you need a bit of classic, pink frosting in your life. It was a very indulgent little meal (and something I could only do every now and then) but I enjoyed it a lot.
