Lotus Roots + Pickled Black Beans

Well-sourced and crunchy roots. A real surprise. The ingredients were delicious to start with, so there was not much to add. Nice easy starter.

I adore the texture of lotus root - crunchy but dense - and they pair nicely with the pickled beans.
