Amazing bowl of fishball noodles! This is a collaboration between LiXin Teochew Fishball Noodles (a

Bib Gourmand Eatery) and Eat Plant Love. Consisting of plant-based fishcake, minced meat, vegetable rolls and fried stuffed tau pok. Three types of rice noodles are available for you to choose - kway teow, bee hoon and bee tai mak. Sauce was really good! When mixed together, it was really delicious. This dish does not come with soup. Good way to try out the Eat Plant Love items without purchasing the entire packet at NTUC.

I love it when traditionally non-vegan-friendly establishments make the effort to introduce plant-based items. This

is a vegetarian take on fishball minced meat mee pok and it's really pleasing! Lots of meat substitutes that are all qq and springy - from stuffed taupok and fishcake to minced meat. Shallot oil is used, too, in place of the normal pork lard, and this makes the dish SUPER fragrant. I had the non-chilli version with ketchup - would probably have been even nicer with a kick of sambal chilli spice.

Note to ask for vegan noodle options when ordering to make this dish vegan - so rice-based noodles like kway teow or bee tai mak!

The one thing I absolutely love is the 老鼠粉~ I requested for spring onions but

it came without~ I really don’t like it when my dish comes without a single morsel of fresh greens. The plant based stuffs are ok ok. I’d love a bowl with just veggies and the mee tai mak. Oh their sauce with vinegar is good. The broccolis stolen from my pupper~ 😬

Lucky Chinatown basement is pretty vegan friendly. There’s like at least 3 stalls with vegan options. Already a luxury and all 3 options are pretty good. ✌🏼🌱 my

The noodles were alright but the plant-based ngioh hiang and tau pok were dry and

thick. Couldn’t taste the “fish paste” in the middle, much. Sadly, would not buy this again.
