Trying something new with my photos - extra close 🥸🤣 Ok so this was our first time going to #kotuwa, the new Sri Lankan restaurant that’s impossible to get a table at. Kind of funny because half the restaurant was empty the entire night 😜 but the food was pretty good! This Dahl is pretty basic as far as Dahl goes which is pretty much what you want from dahl... tempered seasoned lentils, not too thick and not too thin! I grew up eating this with rice so if it’s on the menu it’s in my belly! #littleindia #srilankan
This meant to be under Kotuwa not Cloudstreet. Not the best dahl I've had since my trip to Sri Lanka (dahl heaven rlly) but still the first I've had in a while, notes of black mustard made this a bit spicier. They use biopak which makes dining while staying home slightly less guilty #srilankan
