As described in the menu, this #wagamama #ramen dish looked and tasted comforting…initially. My problem with it was SALT. Oh my, after a few sips of the broth, it was all I could taste. Presentation was appealing with ample cubes of crumb coated silken tofu cubes, nourishing to the taste, a centre portion of wok-fried mixed mushrooms, rich and fresh, scattered with coriander, udon noodles with shredded carrot, pea shoots and chillies were all plentiful under the surface of the broth. But, unfortunately the salt claimed every taste bud for me. Price £14 The service is great, friendly, informed staff. I wish they could regulate their orders system a bit more. They have that policy of bringing you the food as it is ready, so what we considered the starter came at the same time as my partner’s main, but then there was a huge gap before my main arrived. It’s not that sociable. Wagamama seems committed to providing a good range of vegan options, clearly labelled. Much appreciated #veganfortheanimals #veganinlondon #healthyfastfood
