Which was deliciously crispy, both the #tofu and the #mushroom 😋 And yet the best part was the gloriously creamy and sweet #pumpkin #curry 😋😋😋 Make the #rice bit more compelling and this becomes a five-star proposition!

Penang is truly something else ❤️ You’ll come across a #plantbased spot at just about every other turn & true to its artistic #cafe culture each of these restaurants have such a unique feel 🪭 The is again #japanese themed like many #allveganrestaurant in #Penang are — but they have such a unique feel to their offerings. I don’t think I’ve had a #kabocha #japanesecurry before 🍛 I suppose in hindsight the bits I thought were carrot were probably #squash 🎃 In spite of requesting that the #curry be #spicy, I tasted not a pinch of heat 🤏 It was delicious nonetheless though, with half the #katsu a very creatively battered #tofu and the other half what I believe to be oyster #mushroom 🍄 They so seamlessly transition between the two, had I not pried I might not have even noticed! Super delicious dish, my best I’ve had in Penang. Delicious rich and creamy pumpkin curry gravy with katsu like “chicken” veggies and rice.
